Now With Live Feedback!
Readability-Score.com started out as a very simple tool. You would paste in a piece of text, and it would give you back the Flesch-Kincaid Reading Ease of that text. Simple.
But over time it's grown and grown. It now includes a few more readability algorithms, measures the reading time of text, analyses keyword density, and does all of this for pasted text, URLs, PDFs and more.
That's not enough though. We always wanted Readability-Score.com to be able to dive a little deeper into content, and to be able to show you, visually, where your content could do with some tweaking.
We're pleased to announce that the latest version of Readability-Score.com does exactly that!
Shiny New Feature!
Now, in addition to all of the useful statistics you've come to expect from Readability-Score.com, we will also highlight text that is difficult to read. We highlight both long words and long sentences, and you can now use these new tools to help keep your readability scores to a nice low level.
That's not all! We also added some nifty little tools to help budding authors improve their copy, and we think these will prove just as handy for professional copywriters, researchers and academics. Readability-Score.com now also shows you adverbs, uses of passive voice, and even highlights clichés!
We hope you like the new functionality of the site. If you have any problems at all, please let us know.
